The Reveal: New cabin, new routes, new uniform

According to Sam Chui Aviation & Travel, Kuwait Airways has announced exciting changes to its products and offerings for 2023. The Gulf carrier has seven A330-900s on order and unveiled that the new aircraft will be delivered with a new business class product and a premium economy cabin. With Kuwait's addition of a premium economy cabin, Emirates will no longer be the only airline from the region offering this service.

Data from ch-aviation shows that Kuwait Airways currently has four A330-800s in its fleet and a further seven A330-900s are to come. With the current and incoming Airbus widebodies, Kuwait is diversifying its twin-aisle fleet, which includes ten Boeing 777-300ERs, all relatively new. The Gulf carrier is also awaiting delivery of two Airbus A320neos. nine A321neos, and two A350-900s.

Cirium schedule data only shows flights to Athens and Antalya, both of which will be served by the airline's A320 aircraft. Kuwait will deploy its A320neos to Athens and the A320ceos to Antalya.

Today, Kuwait Airways became the latest airline to announce new uniforms for its staff, collaborating with Italian fashion house Ettore Bilotta.
